Planning is a process of discovery.

Started in March of 2020 during the height of the global pandemic, CJH Planning was created to help local governments and private sector partners keep planning alive and relevant during a time of uncertainty.  CJH's founder worked with local communities to transform and modernize community planning outreach, design methods, and standards to meet the unprecedented changes taking place. The firm has grown to offer local communities, non-profits, and private development groups  city planning, design, and data collection efforts.

As AICP certified planners, we have a professional obligation to make sure all community members are heard and represented during planning projects. This includes hosting meetings beyond the walls of government buildings, researching peer examples of best practices from around the US, and deep dives into local people/places that hold the stories of the past.

This expertise was obtained by years of travel, community meetings, training, certifications, and technical data analysis.
